RJR News understands that investigators probing Monday
morning's plane crash near Moneague, St. Ann
will be getting assistance from their counterparts in the US.
American law enforcement personnel will among other things help to track down the owner of the twin engine light fixed wing aircraft.
The plane, which flew to Jamaica from the United States, was registered in Florida.
The identities of two persons who perished in the crash are yet to be ascertained.
The plane hit land and burst into flames shortly before 10 o'clock on the Windalco property in Schwallenburgh.
Investigators say the plane was to be loaded with ganja as a part of a massive drug transshipment operation.
Four suspects were later nabbed.
