Victims in ganja plane crash identified

Investigators have released the identity of two men who were killed in a plane crash in the Schwallenburgh mines near Moneague in St. Ann last week.

The charred remains of Preston Roll, 41, and Deon Deans, 32, both of the Bahamas, were found in the burnt out rubble of a light twin engine aircraft that crashed on a dirt road in Schwallenburgh.

Four Jamaicans were arrested after the police seized over 1,000 pounds of compressed ganja during an operation.

Three motor cars were also seized.

The suspects who have since retained lawyers have been undergoing interrogation since Saturday.
