Vybz Kartel, popular dancehall artiste, and his five co-accused pleaded not guilty when they appeared in court on Monday in relation to the murder of Clive Williams who was also known as Lizard.
Kartel and the members of his Gaza Empire are charged with the 2011 killing of Williams.
The other accused are Shawn 'Shawn Storm' Campbell, Clive Haye, Shane Williams, Andre St John and Kahira Jones.
The prosecution has alleged that in August 2011, Williams, was taken to Kartel's home in Havendale, St Andrew, where he was beaten to death over a missing gun.
Williams' body has not been found.
Detectives reportedly seized a cellular phone, which recorded the killing.
