St Kitts & Nevis is rolling out new passports as part of its fourth Generation Border Management System upgrade.
The Ministry of National Security said the new passports are machine-readable and incorporate high-technology features designed to enhance security and streamline border management processes.
The government has stated that it is confident that the new system will provide more secure and efficient travel documentation.
The St Kitts and Nevis passport is ranked 23rd on Henley and Partners' Global Passport Index, with visa-free/visa-on-arrival access to 157 countries, including the European Union and the United Kingdom.
