Police in St Maarten have arrested a suspect in the murder of an American couple whose slain bodies were found on the Dutch island on Friday.
The police say a male suspect in the killings was arrested early yesterday but he's yet to be charged.
The bodies of US citizens Michael and Thelma King were found Friday in their beachfront condominium in St. Maarten.
The woman was found tied to a chair, and the man was lying on the floor.
Both victims were in their 50s.
Police say both Americans appeared to have suffered fatal stab wounds.
The St Maarten government says every resource is being used to investigate and solve the case.
