Two men have been charged in Tobago
in the killing of a 49-year-old German man.
One of the suspects appeared in court Monday, while the other was in the hospital for unknown reasons.
The two are not expected to plead until the preliminary inquiry begins.
Police have not revealed a motive in the slaying of Peter Taut.
His body was found November 1 in a shallow grave at his home in the neighbourhood of Bacolet along Tobago's Southern coast.
It is the same area where a British couple was brutally attacked with a machete in August.
