Another Bullet the favourite for Sprint Championship

Another Bullet is the 9-5 ante-post favourite to land the 32nd running of the Lasco Food Drink Caribbean Invitational Sprint" over  6 furlongs at Caymanas Park on Saturday, the first of a two day weekend racing carnival.

Mean
while, Wow Wow is the 3-5 overnight favourite to capture the 13th running of the Konka Energy Drink 2 Year Old Juvenile Sprint going 6 and half furlongs. Another Bullet will be looking for his first win since April when he won the Lady Geeta Trophy, beating the likes of sprint champion Chace The Great and reigning Horse of the Year, Will In Charge going over 6 furlongs in a fast 1 minute, 11 and three-fifths.

The 7 year old bay horse has only been beaten by super mare She's A Maneater in his last three starts. Trained by Patrick 'Wacky' Lynch and to be ridden by former champion jockey Shane Ellis, Another Bullet is in good form and will not be easily beaten.

Second in the ante-post odds at 2
-1 is the Rowan Mathie-trained Another Vigorous who is seeking back to back wins with leading rider Christopher Mamdeen aboard and may make a telling bid.

Also in the hunt is back to back champion, Chace The Great with champion jockey Anthony Thomas back in the saddle after riding him past the winning post in 2017 for trainer Dwight Chen.
The 6 year old chestnut gelding who is now being conditioned by new trainer Vincent Atkinson, hasn't won a race at the track since this event in 2018 when he was ridden by Dane Nelson.

However, he has made the frame except for September 11 when he bolted but, has since worked well  and stands a chance. 11 horses are set to face the starter at 5:16 pm.

Meanwhile, the impressive two year old bay colt Wow Wow is seeking his fourth win in five starts. The Gary Subratie charge claimed a hattrick of wins on September 21 with an emphatic 11 length victory over the much touted England's Rose and it will take a huge effort to deny Wow Wow and jockey Ameth Robles.

Post time for the seven horse field is 3:23 pm. 10 races are on the card with first post set for noon. Live racing coverage will be on Hitz 92 FM.
