Outgoing Red Stripe Premier League champions Arnett Gardens and this year's finalist Portmore United will have home advantage in the upcoming Caribbean Club Championship after the Caribbean Football Union announced that the final round will be held in Jamaica from May 11-16.
Portmore and Arnett who qualified for the final round in February, will go up against Trinidad and Tobago's Central FC and Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic for the lone spot in the 2018 CONCACAF Champions League.
The runners-up and the third place team from the championship in Jamaica will play in the inaugural CONCACAF League in August while the 4th placed team will playoff against the Caribbean tier two winner which will be played in June. Portmore United was Jamaica's representative in the 2017 edition of the CONCACAF League.
