Title holders Arnett Gardens have been eliminated from the CFU Club Shield following their 4-1 defeat to AC Port of Spain from Trinidad in the group stage at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
With only the group winners advancing to the semi-finals, Arnett Gardens who started the day in second place, knew they had to win to stay on course for a Caribbean Cup spot.
Arnett Gardens had won their opening game 4-0 against Dublanc of Dominica on Sunday. Jamaica Premier League (JPL) champions Cavalier and Mount Pleasant FA will now be Jamaica's only participants in the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup.
