Ashley McKenzie has been confirmed as Jamaica's representative in the sport of judo at this summer's Paris Olympics.
This will be McKenzie's fourth Olympic Games having previously represented Great Britain at the games.
He also becomes the first male Jamaican judoka to compete at the Olympics.
Additionally, confirmation of McKenzie's qualification officially ends the hopes of Ebony Drysdale-Daley.
With only one spot available for Jamaican judoka at the Games, McKenzie was ahead of Drysdale-Daley on nine points in the pecking order.
Drysdale-Daley, who was aiming for her second appearance at Olympics, had accused the Jamaica Judo Association of nepotism after she was de-registered from the final competition for qualification, the Lima Pan American Games, which was held on June 21.
