Jamaica has another collegiate conference champion in Kito Campbell. The University of Denver athlete took the Summit League Championship title in the 100 yard breaststroke, clocking a personal best of 52.61 seconds to become the fastest Jamaican of all time in the event and close in on the school record of 52.32 seconds held by the USA’s Adriel Sanes.
The 2025 Junior Pan Am Games representative also swam a personal best 1:58.57 to cop bronze in the 200 yard breaststroke.
Adding to his two individual medals, Campbell won silver in the 200 and 400 yard medley relays, recording the fastest splits with 23.90 and 52.48 respectively.
