Australia continued its stranglehold on the 5th and final Ashes test against England at the Kennington Oval in London, by asking England to follow on and reducing the home team to 203-6, still trailing by 129 runs with two full days to go.
England resumed in a perilous position on 107-8 on Saturday's 3rd day, and were promptly dismissed for 149 as only allrounder Moeen Ali 30 and Mark Wood 24 negotiated the Australian attack. Mitchell Johnson ended with 3-21, Mitchell Marsh 3-30, Nathon Lyon 2-40 and Peter Siddle 2-32.
Asked to follow on, and trailng by 332 runs on first innings, England again failed against the Aussie bowlers and were held to 203-6, still 129 runs in arrears and 4 second innings wickets in hand.
Captain Alastair Cook, 85, fell to part time bowler Steven Smith in the penultimate over, Jonny Bairstow made 26 and Jos Buttler is 33 not out against Nathon Lyon 2-52.
Scores entering the 4th day: Australia 481 all out; England 149 and 203-6.
England have already regained the Ashes, holding an insurmountable 3-1 series lead, but Australlia will ensure the series ends 3-2.
