Yohan Blake blazing to the second fastest 200m of all time at the Brussels Diamond League meeting on Friday, September 16.
Track and Field News has named Yohan Blake’s 200 metres run of 19.26 seconds at the 2011 Brussels Diamond League meet as the male performance of the year 2011.
Blake's mark is the second fastest ever time over 200 metres, only behind compatriot Usain Bolt’s world record run of 19.19 seconds at the 2009 World Championship in Berlin, Germany.
On the women side, the top spot goes to 12.28 seconds recorded by Australian Sally Pearson over the 100 metre hurdles at the Daegu World Championships in South Korea last summer.
