World and Olympic champions Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce were among those in attendance at the UWI's Assembly Hall, where United States President Barack Obama addressed youths from a across the region.
The two stars were singled out by President Obama prior to his presentation.
The usually outspoken Bolt spoke of jitters on meeting America's first black president. Bolt and Fraser-Pryce aside, other sporting personalities in attendance at the town hall meeting with President Obama were Olympic 200m bronze medallist Warren Weir, former world junior representative Julian Forte and President of the MVP Track and Field Club Bruce James.
