Led by national representative Michael Lowe with the best score, Campion College won the inaugural School Golf Competition ahead of title favourites Jamaica College at the Constant Spring course recently. Lowe, who is the number one ranked player on the Campion College team, won all his matches to end on 39 points in the competition, which was played over five holes in a five round tournament, that used the international Ryder Cup format.
Four member scramble teams played in the first round before teams of two, contested the second phase. Campion College, with six of the best scores over the competition, played on Tuesdays over a four week period, amassed 16 points to finish four points ahead of Jamaica College and Hilell Academy on 10 points.
