The JSE's Main Index climbed by 326 points on Tuesday while the Junior Market Index dipped by 26 points.
A total 52 stocks traded; 21 advanced, 26 declined and five traded firm.
TransJamaican Highway was the volume leader, followed by Innovative Energy Group and QWI Investments.
