17 year old Wolmer's starlet Gary Card is highly fancied to complete the Class 1 boys sprint double at the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships starting on Tuesday at the National Stadium.

Card who made the final of the 100m at last year’s World U20 Championships in Lima, Peru, is the top ranked athlete among Class 1 boys in the event this season with a time of 10.21 seconds which he did to take the Under-20 title at the recent Carifta Trials.

Card is also the top ranked competitor for the 200 metres. He was second in last year's final before going on to win the Carifta Under 20 title.

Tyrese Foreman of St George's College who created an upset to win the Under-20 title at the Carifta Trials two and a half weeks ago, is also expected to figure prominently along with Antonio Powell of Edwin Allen, Calabar's Junior Gallimore and Zachary Wallace of Maggotty High.

The ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships will run from March 25-29 at the National Stadium.
