Cavalier retained the KSAFA Under-15 title after beating Santos 4-1 on penalties after a 0-0 all draw in full and extra time at the Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence at the University of the West Indies on Thursday. Harris Bailey scored the winning penalty for the Cavalier unit while Donovan Gayle made a couple of saves in the shootout. This was Cavalier's sixth hold of the Under-15 title, a record in the Corporate Area.
Meanwhile, Santos failed to win the Under-13 title after Harbour View clipped them 1-0. Denzil McKenzie scored the winner for the young Stars of the East in the 61st minute. The win helped Harbour View to claim their fifth crown at this age group level. The KSAFA Under-10 competition will kick off this Saturday at the same venue.
