Commandant to miss Mouttet Mile

Third place finisher from last year's Mouttet Mile, Commandant is set to miss this year's renewal of the ultra rich event at Caymanas Park.

The American-bred 5 year old bay horse suffered a fall in his last race on June 7 which has set back his preparation for the big event.

His trainer Rohan Crichton confirmed this development with Radio Jamaica Sports over the weekend. The 4th staging of the Mouttet Mile is set for Saturday, December 6.
