Cuba's women's hockey team arrived in Jamaica on Tuesday for a three game play-off series to decide the eighth and final qualifying spot for the Pan-American Games.
The Cubans have been thoroughly prepared with three convincing victories over Mexico, taking those games 12-1, 7-1 and 3-0 respectively.
Meanwhile, all things are in place for Jamaica to host the series.
Victor Tomlinson, President of the Jamaica Hockey Federation, says his only concern is the weather.
The opening game takes place on Thursday at the Mona Astro Turf with the second and third set for Saturday and Sunday.
