Dehring suggesting break-up of West Indies cricket

Former Chief Marketing Officer of Cricket West Indies (CWI) Chris Dehring says countries like Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados may have to consider playing as separate nations on the international stage in due course, given the serious decline of the West Indies as a team.

Dehring who was speaking on Tuesday night's edition of the Mason and Guest Show in Barbados, said the three countries could first target an event like the Olympics.

Dehring also asserted that the West Indies brand has been tarnished beyond repair.
