National quarter-miler Dominique Blake is expressing confidence of making Jamaica's team to the London World Championships this summer.

Speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Girls Sports Club on Thursday afternoon, 30 year old Blake revealed she has been preparing in Fayetville, Arkansas and is brimming with confidence following her 4 and a half year suspension for a doping violation which is now at an end.

“Age is just a number; Kim Collins of St Kitts is breaking records and Chris Brown of the Bahamas is doing phenominal things at age 38 running sub 45 seconds so if you want to look at it as a setback that you can or you can’t, either way you look at it you are absolutely correct,” said Blake.

In her time off the track, Blake says she has been doing background work to get back to an elite athlete status.
