Emperorofthecats land Harlequin Cup in upset fashion

The Carl Anderson owned, trained and bred 4 year old bay gelding Emperorofthecats created a 16-1 upset to land Saturday's feature event at Caymanas Park, the Harlequin Cup for Open Allowance runners over the 5 straight course.

Emperorofthecats was ridden to victory by 9 pound claiming apprentice Richard Henry.

Emperorofthecats who was scoring his third victory from six races this year, came home in 59 seconds flat, winning by three and three quarter lengths.

Jockeys Linton Steadman and Roger Hewitt each had a double on the 10 race card. Racing continues next Saturday.
