Fight off between Ashley & Hoy

Forty three year old 43 year old United States-based Jamaican boxer Alicia Ashley will fight American Crystal Hoy in a Super Bantamweight fight on Wednesday in Brooklyn, New York.

Hoy is 13 year's younger than Ashley, who last fought in April, when she defeated American Jackie Trivilino via unanimous decision.

Ashley will use the fight as a marker for her next fight, which is likely to be for the Open WBC (World Boxing Council) title.

"She’s (like) a bull dog that comes at you, that is always on top of you but I’m prepared for that. I actually get a lot of fights that way (as) a lot of my opponents have that kind of style, so that works very well for me. I don’t have to chase her, I can just box. I have a girl at the gym that boxes just like that, so she’s helping me get ready for this fight," Ashley.
