The first official international cricket match will be played at the Greenfield Stadium in Trelawny on Saturday (Oct 8) when West Indies and England women meet in the first of 5 ODIs.
Warm up matches for the 2007 World Cup were held at the venue, but this is the first time official matches will be played there.
West Indies women's coach Vasbert Drakes has expressed confidence in his players to perform well in all department's of the game.
Saturday's 1st ODI will be followed by another match on Monday also at the Trelawny Stadium.
The last three ODIs on October 14, 16 and 19 are scheduled for Sabina Park.
