Glenmuir High showed why they are the firm favourites for this year's ISSA DaCosta Cup, as they came from 3-1 down at half time to beat Frome Technical 4-3 at home in Group "A" quarter final round action.
Goals from Wayne Mullings, Stevaughn Spence and Clinton Beckford had Frome in the driver’s seat as only Conroy Nicely with an 18th minute goal, laid hands on them.
However, the second half belonged to Orane Watson and Glenmuir. Watson put in a giant performance with a hat-trick.
In the group’s other game, St Elizabeth Technical and McGrath High ended 1-1 STETHS. Jim Mitchell had McGrath infront from as early as the 25th minute.
However, STETHS hit back in the 64th minute through Justin McPherson to earn a point as the two cancelled out each other.
In the day's third game, Garvey Maceo and Central High played out a 2-2 draw.
Omarion O'Brian and Everald Swaby got Garvey Maceo's goals, while Antoine Wright and Ean Noel got the goals for Central High.
