Ian Forbes appointed new INSPORTS chairman

Former deputy chairman Ian Forbes is the new chairman of the Institute of Sports Limited (INSPORTS). The announcement was made by Sports Minister Olivia Grange on Tuesday. Howard Chambers is now the new deputy chairman.

The other members of the board are Ronald Anderson, Dr Michelle Holt, Alan Beckford, Glen Nelson, Emile Spence, Shirley McLean-Brown, Julian Patrick, Florette Blackwood, Suzzette Ison and ex officio George Ledgister.

Grange has also announced that Blackwood, Leslie Harrow and former INSPORTS chairman Newton Amos have been added to the board of directors for the Sports Development Foundation (SDF) as of September 9, 2024 until the board expires in April 2026.
The SDF board is chaired by Leslie Campbell.
