Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jeremain Brown

Jamaica's team is back home from the just-concluded Carifta Track and Field Championships in the Bahamas where the country once again topped the medal table for a 37th straight year.

However, even with the success, one coach has blasted the organizers of the meet, while noting this was Jamaica's most challenging championships in recent  memory.

The country amassed 78 medals comprising 40 gold, 22 silver and 16 bronze medals, 36 more medals than nearest rivals Bahamas

Dave Anderson was a member of the Jamaica's coaching staff to the Bahamas and he says it was a challenging meet for both athletes and team officials. The 2024 Carifta Championship will be hosted by Grenada.
