Jamaica bounced back from their opening game defeat at the FIBA Centrobasket Under-17 Championship in Mexico to beat El Salvador 95-78 on Thursday night.
The young Jamaicans were once again led by London Johnson as he once again hit the 40 point mark for the Caribbean team which led 48-40 at the half time break.
Johnson who had also scored 40 points in the opening defeat to Mexico, received good support from Marcus McDonald who chipped in with 21 points.
The Jamaicans are slated to face the Dominican Republic in their next encounter on Friday night. The top three teams at the tournament will advance to the FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship in 2022.
