Jamaican female athletes to start undergoing genetic testing this week

National female athletes returning from the NACAC Championships who could be World Championships-bound, will be subjected to testing by the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) starting this week.


This follows the announcement by World Athletics of a new genetic testing regime to determine the eligibility conditions to compete in the female category for world ranking competitions.
