JC advance to Manning Cup semi-finals

Excelsior High beat Hydel to keep their hopes of reaching the ISSA Manning Cup semi-final alive, following their 3-1 victory at the Prison Oval on Wednesday.

The result of Excelsior's win also means that Jamaica College are through to the last four.

Excelsior are now on three points, the same as Charlie Smith who they will play in the group’s final game on Saturday. 

Meanwhile, in action from the DaCosta Cup, Kemps Hill High made things interesting in Zone 1, as they avenged their second round loss to Cornwall College, turning the tables on them 3-1 at Glenmuir. With the victory, Kemps Hill are in second place on goal difference behind Glenmuir.

Former champions STETHS are leading Zone 2 on goal difference with 4 points, the same as Dinthill Technical who clipped Clarendon College 2-1.
