JFF boss says there's no danger of normalization committee intervening

Voice of JFF president Michael Ricketts

Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president Michael Ricketts is reassuring the Jamaican football public that the country is far away from having a normalization committee being implemented due to irregular activities.

There are concerns from some local stakeholders including KSAFA first vice president Carvel Stewart that recurring events of conflict of interests are paving the way for the world governing body FIFA to step in and steer the football programme.

However, when asked about Jamaica possibly facing the same sanctions as Trinidad and Tobago for the mishandling of affairs, Ricketts was adamant this would not be the case.

Ricketts who is gearing up for a third term with his own mandate, says FIFA's constant oversight of the JFF's finances is not unique.
