Julian forte highlighted the second meet of the JAAA’s All Comers Series by clocking the second fastest time by a Jamaican over 100 meters this season.
The 20 year old University of Technology student produced 10.03 secs to lower his previous best of 10.12 set last August.
He turned back the challenge of 2010 national champion Oshane Bailey who clocked 10.20 and Jason Livermore 10.25. Antigua & Barbuda's Daniel Bailey won the men's 200 meters in 20.59 seconds.
In another heat, World Championship semi-finalist Jason Livermore produced 20.61 for the win ahead of Edino Steele 20.63 and Delano Williams 20.65.
Rusheen McDonald of MVP Track Club also produced a creditable 45.51 seconds to win the men's 400 metres ahead of Racers' Peter Matthews 46.78.
Meanwhile, Jamaica's fast rising Natasha Morrison of Utech suffered an apparent injury in the women's 100 metres won by Audra Segree in 11.44 seconds.
Segree's Sprint Tech team-mate Annastacia Leroy won the 200 metres in 23.34 secs.
