Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jeremain Brown

Paris Olympic finalist Oblique Seville continued his recent hot streak with victory in rainy conditions at the Lausanne Diamond League meet in Switzerland on Wednesday. Seville romped to victory in 9.87 seconds in registering another convincing win over Lyles.

This was his second win over the American this season to go with his London victory. Lyles clocked 10.02, the same time as Jamaica's Ackeem Blake who was third.

In the other track event featuring Jamaicans, national record holder Ackera Nugent placed 4th in the women's 100m hurdles in 12.57, while Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist Megan Tapper ended 7th in 13.05.

In the field, 2019 world champion Tajay Gayle was third in the men's long jump with 7.71 metres. The next Diamond League meet is set for Brussells on Friday.
