Kirkvine meet to attract top schools in central Jamaica

The 35th staging of the JAAA Puma Pat Anderson Development meet at the Kirkvine Sports Club is one of three development meets slated for this Saturday as the 2018 track and field season intensifies. The meet which gets underway at 9:00 am, will have participation from the top schools in central Jamaica, including national champions Edwin Allen as well as Holmwood, Vere and Manchester High.

Schools from the Corporate Area are also expected to compete. The events down to be contested are the 200, 400, 800, 1500 , women's 3000 metres open and men's 5000 metres open as well as the 4 x 800 metres for males and females.

Meanwhile, the 13th staging of the Douglas Forrest Invitational takes place at GC Foster College starting at 8:30 am while Manchester High will host a field events meet.
