Leford Green to contest the 400m hurdles final
Jamaica’s 400m hurdler Leford Green will line up against the world’s best in the final this afternoon.
Green ran a season best 48.61 seconds in the semi-finals on Saturday to finish second behind American Michael Tinsley and secure an automatic spot in the finals in his first Olympic Games.
The final of the 400m h will be at 2:35 p.m Jamaica time.
The former Kingston College athlete has a personal best 48.47 seconds set in Puerto Rico two years ago.
