Brad Barnes starred with the bat and ball to help Manchester High pull off a massive 70 run win over Munro College to capture the two-day Rural Area Under-16 cricket title at Malvern.
Batting first, Manchester High made 174 all out. Brad Barnes topscored with 41 against David Curtis, who took 4 for 50.
Damali Taylor chipped in with 3 for 7.
Chasing 175 to win, Munro were skittled out for 104 as Barnes bagged 5 for 48.
Lamar Richards supported with 4 for 7 as only Sean Grant with 39 offered resistance for Munro College.
Meanwhile, it will need another day at least to decide the ISSA Under 16 cricket semi final between Kingston College and defending champions Excelsior High.
This follows three postponements which saw the contest being washed out twice while Kingston College failed to show for an extended third day last Wednesday.
KC batting first were 56-4 when rain stopped play at Lucas on Tuesday.
Stephan Pink has so far topscored with 15 while Kevon Bartley made 14.
Orlando Rowe took 3-8.
The winner of this match will play Innswood High in the final.
