Mixed results for women's team at Chess Olympiad

Jamaica's women's team had mixed results at the Chess Olympiad ongoing in India.
 
The women lost 1.5-2.5 points to Scotland in the 9th round with Gabriella Watson scoring a win and Woman Candidate Master Adani Clarke earning a draw.
 
The Jamaicans recovered in the next round to defeat Cyprus 3-1.
 
Clarke and Woman International Master Rachel Miller both had wins, while Watson and Nickaylah Curwin both drew.
 
Meanwhile, the open team went down 3-1 as well as 1.5-2.5 points to South Africa and Venezuela, respectively in the 9th and 10th rounds.
 
Fide Masters Shreyas Smith and Joshua Christie drew their matches to earn Jamaica's point against South Africa, while Smith scored a win and Christie earned another draw against Venezuela.
