Title holders Mona High were held to a 1-1 draw by Jamaica College in their opening game in the quarter final round of the ISSA Manning Cup at the Stadium East Field on Friday.
JC had a goal disallowed before Mona took the lead through Shaun Leighton, but JC fought back to level from the penalty spot through Dyllan John.
There was no such problem for St Catherine High who started with a 2-0 victory over Campion College. The final game of the day saw Kingston College beating Tivoli High 5-0.
