Mount Pleasant FA beat Racing United 2-1 in their rescheduled Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) game at Drax Hall on Thursday.
Captain Marcovich Brown scored an own goal in the 5th minute to give Mount Pleasant the lead. However, Racing were back on level terms when Ranaldo Biggs scored a 27th minute equalizer.
Mount Pleasant hit the front for good when Raheem Edwards scored his 10th goal of the season to make it 2-1.
Mount Pleasant are now on 78 points, nine above second placed Montego Bay United. Racing remained on 48 points in 8th place.
