Mount Pleasant held by Police FC in CONCACAF Caribbean Cup

Jamaica's Mount Pleasant FC were held to a 0-0 draw by hosts Police FC of Trinidad and Tobago in their CONCACAF Caribbean Cup match at the Hasley Crawford Stadium on Thursday.

The result means Mount Pleasant moved to 4 points, but stayed 4th in the group, while Police remained in third place on 5 points.

It also means Mount Pleasant face a must win game against Real Hope of Haiti in their final group game to advance to the semi-finals of the competition.

Meanwhile, head coach of Arnett Gardens, Xavier Gilbert says on another day, Wednesday night's result against Real Hope could have gone their way, this after the many time Jamaica Premier League champions were knocked out of contention to the next round of the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup.

Arnett remains at the foot of Group 'A' with just a point after their game against the Haitian team at the National Stadium ended in a 0-0 all draw.

Arnett's final game in the group will be against leaders Cavalier on October 10, where a point for the reigning JPL champions could see them progressing to the semi-final stage.

Defeat against Arnett in their final game could also be enough for Cavalier to progress, depending on the results in Mount Pleasant's next two matches.
