Mount Pleasant lose opening game at CONCACAF U13 Champions League

Mount Pleasant lost their opening game of the CONCACAF U-13 Champions League after going down 4-1 to Los Angeles FC in Toluca, Mexico on Wednesday. After LA FC took a 4-0 lead, Nishawn Richardson scored the consolation goal for the St Ann based club in the last minute of the game.

Mount Pleasant will play their next group game on Thursday against Plaza Amador who beat Mexican side Cantera Yucatan 4-1 in their opening game. The top two teams from the group will advance to quarter-finals of the competition.
