Simon Crosskill, former head of sports for the RJR Communications Group, was among the 45 persons who were bestowed with the Order of Distinction, in Officer class, at Monday’s annual National Heroes Day Ceremony at Jamaica House.
Richard ‘Shrimpy’ Clarke and Bunny Grant – former national boxing champions - Wayne Dacosta, top race horse trainer, and Winston Chung Fah, a former national football coach, and Wilbert Parkes, who was once a member of the RJR Sports department, were also presented with the Order of Distinction.
Ian Forbes, Manager of Jamaica College's sports teams, and current JAAA member, was also among the awardees.
