Jamaica went down one nil to the United States in their return leg semi-final round world cup qualifier at the Columbus Crew Stadium in Ohio last night.
The Americans scored the winner in the 55th minute through a free kick from Herculez Gomez.
The defeat means the Jamaicans slip to third in group A on 7 points on goal difference after Guatemala stopped Antigua Barbuda by a goal to nil thanks to a Carlos Ruiz 25th minute goal.
Jamaica’s next game is set for October 12 away to Guatemala.
