Reggae Boyz to face Cuba in opening Nations League contest

Jamaica's Reggae Boyz will face Cuba on September 6 at the National Stadium in their opening League 'A' Group ‘B’ match of the 2024-2025 CONCACAF Nations League following the announcement of the official fixtures on Thursday.

They will play two matches in September as they are also scheduled to play away to Honduras on Tuesday, September 10.    

The Jamaicans will also play away to Honduras on Thursday October 10 before hosting Honduras in a return leg match 4 days later on October 14 at the National Stadium.

The Reggae Boyz who finished third in the 2023-2024 Nations League Finals, are among 12 teams who have been split in two groups of six teams each to contest league “A”  in a "Swiss Style" league system, with each team playing a total of four games, two at home and two away.

After group stage play in September and October, the first and second-place finishers of each group, will advance to the quarter-finals, where they will join the four top-ranked league a teams, Mexico, United States, Panama, and Canada.
