Jamaica's senior national women's football team will be looking to rebound from their opening game loss when they face Italy on Friday at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. The Jamaicans went down to a 3-0 defeat to Brazil on Sunday in Grenoble and must get a positive result against Italy to have any hope of advancing from the group stage. TVJ and Hitz 92 FM will have live coverage of Friday’s game starting with a pre-game show at 10:00 am.

Meanwhile, Jamaican Princess Brown has been assigned as a reserve assistant referee for Friday's game between Japan and Scotland in the city of Rennes. What that means is that if either of the assistant referees are unable to fullfill their duties then the 33 year old Brown would step in. Brown was the first assistant referee for the Germany versus China game on June 12. Compatriot Stephanie Dale Yee Sing was the second assistant for that game.
