Sports Minister Olivia "Babsy" Grange says there has been fine tuning of the sports agreement between and Jamaica and Kenya, just after two months after both Governments signed four agreements, which will facilitate collaboration in sports, culture and tourism, among other areas.

Grange made the disclosure to the RJR Gleaner Group at the recent IAAF World Championships in Doha after a meeting with the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for sport Amina Mohamed.

“We have identified some specific things that we’ll be doing in the short term. We are looking at training athletes but they will assist us with athletes in the middle and long distances and we will assist with the training of their athletes in the sprints. We are also looking at assisting with coaches so a coach would go to Kenya to work with the athletes there and also (their coach) come to Jamaica to work with our athletes,” said Minister Grange.
