St Jago boys and Edwin Allen girls retain Central Champs titles

As expected, defending champions St Jago Boys and Edwin Allen girls retained their respective titles at the 2-day Central Athletics Championships at the GC Foster College on Wednesday. 14 records were broken on day two, with eight coming on the boys’ side.

St Jago boys won with 327 points after 40 finals. They were followed by Edwin Allen 267, Clarendon College, 132, Manchester High 110 and Holmwood completing the top five with 109 points

Edwin Allen tallied 385 points after 45 finals, followed by Holmwood 310, Hydel, 279, Vere Technical, 204 and St Jago on 152.5 rounding out the top 5.
