The achievements continue to roll in for recently crowned RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation National Sportsman of the Year Tajay Gayle who has now signed a professional contract with Puma. The announcement of Gayle's signing came on Wednesday via Puma's instagram page.
The 23 year old became the first Jamaican to win a long jump world title after leaping a personal best and national record 8.69 metres at the Doha World Championships last year. Gayle also received the Gleaner Honours Award for sports along with reigning and 4-time national Sportswoman of the Year Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
