Jamaica's Kishane Thompson and Oblique Seville are set for a major clash with Americans Noah Lyles and Kenny Bednarek at the Lausanne Diamond League meet in Switzerland on August 20.
Thompson, the Paris Olympic silver medalist and Seville, a Paris Olympic finalist are set to do battle over 100 metres with Lyles the reigning Olympic and world champion and Bednarek who was also a finalist in the event at Paris.
His mega clash has been announced a day after news broke that Thompson, the current world leader at 9.75 seconds would battle Lyles in the 100 metres at the Silesia Diamond league meet in Poland on August 16. Seville defeated Lyles in the 100 meters at the London Diamond League meet on July 19.
Meanwhile, on the women's side, reigning world champion Shericka Jackson is slated to clash with Paris Olympic 100 metre champion Julien Alfred of St Lucia, reigning Olympic champion, American Gabby Thomas and Great Britain's 2019 world champion Dina Asher-Smith in the 200 metres.
